Duke’s Kauai has been a fixture on Kalapaki Beach for decades, named after Duke Kahanamoku, the father of modern surfing and one of Hawaii’s most celebrated figures. The open-air dining room sits right on the sand, the fish is caught locally, and the cocktails are strong in all the right ways. If you only go out to dinner once this trip, this is the one.
